Roto-uku: 8-string round-necked musical instrument

This weird concept string instrument was conceived to be as minimal as a string instrument can get. So they took a single sheet of carbon fibre and veneer that is treated to be rigid. The tuning peg, bridge, and sound holes were cut out after the instrument was cured.

A very cool looking instrument, would love to know how it sounds.
