Why do I love Star Wars so much? Here’s a good reason.

This infograph depicts how impactful this franchise and its makers have been since its conception. Made in 2005, by Wired writer, Michelle Deveraux, its a bit outdated but still the point comes across very well. Read it and see how amazing this franchise is and was and how many of its rivals owe a great thanks to it.

Michael Myers has created these pretty geeky pixellated Star Wars posters. “obviously inspired by the iOS game, Sword and Sworcery.”

I think they’re pretty awesome! What u think?

This desk is beautiful! Beautiful!! This desk was one of the finalists Cooler Master 2011 Case Mod Competition, by Peter, a 30 year old from the Netherlands.

“Around two years ago Peter started becoming interested in watercooling system, due to an overheating problem with his system. After being inspired by an open custom Square shaped PC hanging from a wall, Peter decided to create his very own desk styled computer case with amazing effect.”

The compudesk system is constructed from aluminium and glass and is equipped with 10TB+ of storage, with an over clocking potential of 4.5Ghz+ and of course is completely water cooled

Wow!! Haha awesome stuff!! Love cool mash_ups! Rahzzah posted this awesomeness on the 21th anniversary of Jim Henson’s death. A very awesome tribute. I’m sure he’ll have a good chuckle.

Next time Microsoft purchases a company, we know how it’ll contact its new acquisition to begin negotiations(through Skype duh!). Microsoft just entered into an agreement to purchase Skype for “$8.5 billion in cash.” There’s good news involved, even if you’re not a Skype investor: “Skype will support Microsoft devices like Xbox and Kinect, Windows Phone and a wide array of Windows devices,” Microsoft announced, “and Microsoft will connect Skype users with Lync, Outlook, Xbox Live and other communities.”

You won’t be stuck exclusively using Skype with Kinect, either, as the company plans to continue supporting Skype clients on platforms other than its own (which means Microsoft is now in control of a PSP app-LOL, ironic?). Microsoft did not provide a timeframe for the debut of these Xbox and Windows Phone services, but we’d be very surprised if there weren’t a staged Skype call during Microsoft’s E3 presentation next month.

I think this is pretty darn cool. A gaming/music chair with a 16″ JL Audio subwoofer?

    Yeah 😀

    It is pretty darn cool…
