Posts Tagged ‘Bane’

With the superhero movies being released, the 3 I was most keen on seeing brought to life again were Tom Hardy’s Bane, Henry Cavill’s Superman, and Anne Hathaway’s selina kyle/catwoman.

I must say I’m excited with the overall results. Bane looks phenominal despite outcries of some people. Need I remind people that nobody knew what to think of Heath Ledgers Joker, and look what happened.

So we have some pics of the Kryptonian Wonderboy and Gothams Feline femme fatale.
The pics show closeups of the outfits and wider shots.

The pics of Cavill himself in the suit, don’t really impress me, ill have to see how he pulls off the role in Snyders Man of Steel. Its being produced by Nolan, which is something to look forward to.

But to Nolan, his Catwoman is very different from the others, this is assuming that this is the actual costume. But to see our Beloved Anne in gear driving Batpod/Bat Cycle is quite something.

In short both movies consist of amazing oscar nominated/winning cast members, so we do have something to look forward to (albeit good or horrible)

So ill stay optimistic for now

What are your thoughts on these revelations?

Let us know.

Warning! I repeat, warning!

*SPOILER ALERT*

If you’re the type that does not like to be too heavily informed about a major upcoming movie event, then this little article is definitely not for you!

New pictures from the set of Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ have emerged on the web and give us a better look at some of the core characters, in particular Bane and Miranda Tate, not forgetting the main title character, that being Batman of course.

The set photos include a good close-up look of Christian Bale in The Batsuit looking pretty badass, as well as a more detailed look at Tom Hardy as Bane, rocking cargo pants and a shearling coat, as well as the now somewhat infamous mask (a melange of Shredder from ‘Ninja Turtles’ & Scorpion from ‘Mortal Kombat’).

I’ve got to say I quite like Nolan’s version of Bane thus far, which is more military-esque, perfectly fitting in his more realistic Batman universe.

Also, quite interesting to note is that, judging from the pics, Marion Cotillard’s Miranda Tate will be much more involved in the action than previously suggested – she was initially and briefly described as “Wayne Enterprises board member”. She’s pictured on top of the Tumbler (the Batmobile) in one of the pics, ready for action.

Seems there’s a lot more in store as far as the plot is concerned…

I of course geeked over the pics of the Batpod (Batcycle) and the camouflage Tumbler (Batmobile), however the shots I’m most excited about, are the ones of Batman going up against Bane.

While Bale’s Bats definitely has the height advantage, Tom Hardy’s stockier, heavy-set Bane still certainly cuts a tough, menacing figure.

It certainly looks like The Dark Knight Rises is going to be every bit the epic masterpiece that it is expected to be.

Watch this space for my updates!

How about the brilliance and awesome-ness that is this fan made Dark Knight trilogy poster?!

Excitement about The Dark Knight Rises has been steadily building up now, what with the release of the tantalisingly effective teaser trailer and shots of some of the main characters emerging on the web.

We at Eheheheh are really starting to go batty as well (‘scuse the terribly intended pun) with anticipation of Christopher Nolan’s final masterpiece in the Batman saga.

Mouth Watering Teaser Trailer for The Dark Knight Rises showcases yet another image of Bane and an Injured Commisioner Gordon and Character speaking to him. This could be Bane or Bruce Wayne/Batman. Check out the Hi Res image of Tom Hardy as Bane below. Trailer also shows him giving Bats a hard time.

Looking forward to more being released in the next year.

The Dark Knight Rises gets released worldwide 20 July 2012.

Just because I’m amazing

Check out these awesome posters.. Some you might have seen here at EHEHEHEH, but we love them so much we want to show you again!

The first three posters, by Victor Geronimo are so cool, the colours and the imagery are fantastic! And make you feel like they’re at home in the Nolan Gotham world.

The next one by P2P Productioons is simple yet effective.. Using Batman himself as the signal.

This is a cool one by Nicolas Baltra, is a great one, having the bats create the Batman signal.

This one of Catwoman, we’ve already shown here on EHEHEHEH, by Geoff Glees.

As many fans know, having Bane in the new movie is very exciting as in the comic world, Bane is the guy that breaks Batmans back! This poster by Thomas Clarke reminds us of the brutality Bane carries.

Another poster remindin us of the Bane-Batman showdown in “Knightfall”. By Saul Bass.

This is a cool and scary one, reminds me of the fan made Joker posters. Great one Ryan Luckoo.

This one showing Catwoman, Selina Kyle, walking all over the Bat Logo. Typical great work by fan-artists.

Scary threatening poster showing the Bane angst! Artist Max “cure4”.

This is an amazing one too.. The composition, colours, the rain and pure intensity lends to the films anticipation. By “hobo95.”

The next one of Bane, showing the actual Tom Hardy, in his role as Branson, showing his raw strength. With added features this might elude to a horrific foe for Batman. By Sascha Cybula.

Ok, maybe I’m biased but having Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle is a stroke of genius! “El Gato” as its named, shows Anne seductively in her Catwoman concept.

This last one caused a big buzz and it has been around for awhile! One of my favs. This one by Josh Gilbert is a great poster and by far the coolest of the lot showing just the twisted nature of Gotham City.

the grass is greener on the welded side

In one of my very first posts I blogged about there being a buzz about a new series called Gotham High. Which in my opinion wouldve been a great watch. I love the Gotham Characters and seeing them as teens would’ve been cool. Seems that there’s another version to thay scenario.

This time by kizer180 . Called Gotham Brat Pack. Here’s what he had to say about his interpretation:
“So I thought what if all of batman’s villains went to school together. How would they be..

JOKER> Weirdo face painting class clown, school skipper, animal abuser, kid genius.

CLAYFACE> School Mimic, Drama student, Bad grades getter..lol!

RIDDLER> Teachers and students hate him because he continues to ask questions they’re to stupid to answer. They also think he gets a kick out of that s***.

BANE> Loves Physical Ed, slapping kids around and hanging out with his girlfriend Selena. Although he think she’s starting to steal from him for some reason.

SELENA> Gets picked on because of her strange ass neighborhood cat lady mother, has an obsession sneaking around and stealing s***.

PENGUIN> One of the smartest and richest kids in school. Teachers hate him because he’s a smartass and the kids pick on him because of his long nose, deformed hands and stuckup nerdyness.

POISON IVY> Loves chemistry. Voted preetiest, smartest school b**** all at the the same time. That last one the girls in school gave her. Apparently she turned all of they’re boyfriends into her slaves.

Lil FREEZE> Keeps to himself, Loves science. Kids pick on him because of his slurred speech and crushing on a popular blonde girl in school that doesn’t like him. The glass bowl over his head might have something to do with it to. Ha!

CROC> Some weird ass Half-boy Half Crocodile they play with outside of school.”

I must be honest I love this concept, but in many ways I prefer Gotham High. What do you think?
