Toy Story Unleashed

A guy by the name of Luis Eduardo Vargas Montoya, put an entirely new spin on Toy Story’s, Buzz Lightyear and Woody. Giving them a each a more hardcore makeover.. Buzz reminds me more of a mech android than he actually being in a suit and Woody wouldn’t be amiss in Red Dead. Very cool figures.

Why do I love Star Wars so much? Here’s a good reason.

This infograph depicts how impactful this franchise and its makers have been since its conception. Made in 2005, by Wired writer, Michelle Deveraux, its a bit outdated but still the point comes across very well. Read it and see how amazing this franchise is and was and how many of its rivals owe a great thanks to it.

So Pete Docter is not going to direct Monsters University. Turns out Dan Scanlon has been confirmed to direct the new Pixar film.
Kori Rae is producing the film.

Dan Scanlon has worked as a story artist on Cars and Toy Story 3. He also directed the short, “Mater and the Ghostlight.” Rae produced “Mater’s Tall Tales” and Up.

John Goodman and Billy Crystal will return as the voices of Sulley and Mike. The film will show how they first met at Monsters University and despite their differences became good friends.

This is pretty exciting! Monsters, Inc is set to have a sequel! I loved Monsters, Inc and now I’m sure ill love Monsters University just as much.

The film is set to be a prequel to Mike and Sully’s (Played by Billy Crystal and John Goodman) life in the company. Pixar is currently in development with reprising the original cast and crew headed by Pete Docter.

Monsters University follows “Mike and Sulley during their tenure at the University of Fear, where they start off as enemies and slowly become friends. It will effectively serve as a prequel to the events seen in Monsters, Inc.”

Walt Disney Pictures will release the film on November 2, 2012. I’m super excited. Monsters Inc was the first Pixar film I fell in love with.
